Terms of service

These terms cover buying from PrintSap and selling through it. By placing an order or opening a storefront, you agree to them.

In effect from 30 September 2026.

This page is not finished. It still has to name the registered business, its address and a contact address before PrintSap can take real money.

1. Who you are dealing with

PrintSap is operated by the business named below, based in Nairobi, Kenya. The service runs at app.psap.site.

Where these terms say we or PrintSap, they mean that business. Where they say you, they mean whoever is using the site — as a buyer, as a seller, or both.

2. What PrintSap is

PrintSap is a marketplace. We do not hold stock and we do not print in our own workshop. When you order, we send your design and your order details to a print partner in Nairobi, who makes the item and arranges delivery.

Two different things can be bought here. A direct order is something you designed yourself and bought for yourself. A store order is something a seller designed and listed, which you bought from their storefront. In both cases PrintSap takes the payment and is responsible to you for the order.

3. Ordering and payment

Prices are shown in Kenyan Shillings and include printing. Delivery is charged separately where it applies and is shown before you pay.

Payment is taken through Paystack, by card or mobile money. We never see or store your card details. Your order is recorded before you are sent to pay, and only becomes a live order once Paystack confirms the payment.

The price you pay is the price calculated on our server at the moment you check out, from the product and options you chose. If a price shown on the site is wrong, we will tell you and refund you rather than make you pay the difference.

4. Printing to order, and what that means for cancelling

Every item is made for you after you order it. There is no shelf it comes off and no other customer it can be sold to.

You can cancel and get a full refund at any time before your order is accepted by the print partner. After that point the item is being made and cannot be cancelled.

This does not affect your rights under Kenya’s Consumer Protection Act where an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described. Those cases are covered in section 5.

5. If something is wrong with your order

Tell us within 14 days of delivery and send a photograph. If the item is faulty, damaged in transit, the wrong size, the wrong product, or the print does not match the design you approved, we will reprint it or refund you. You choose which.

We cannot reprint or refund for a design that was printed exactly as you placed it. The studio shows a preview, the print size in centimetres and a resolution warning before you order; that preview is what we send to the printer.

Colour on a screen and colour on fabric are never identical. A reasonable variation in shade is not a fault. A print in the wrong colour entirely is.

6. Selling on PrintSap

Anyone with an account can open a storefront. Your store is not visible to buyers until we approve it, and we can decline a store or take one offline. Where we do, we will tell you why.

You set your own retail price. PrintSap charges you a fixed cost per item printed, shown to you before you publish. What a buyer pays above that cost is yours.

Payouts are made through a Paystack subaccount in your name. Each sale is split at the moment it is paid for: your margin goes to your account, the printing cost comes to us. You must connect a payout account before you can put anything on sale.

You are responsible to us for what you publish. That means: you own the designs you upload or have permission to use them; your product titles and descriptions are accurate; and your store name is not one you have no right to use. Selling someone else’s artwork, logo or brand is the single fastest way to have a store closed.

7. What we will not print

We decline orders and remove listings for designs that infringe someone else’s copyright or trademark, that are obscene, that harass or threaten a person, or that promote violence or hatred against a group. Our print partners can also decline work, and where they do the order is cancelled and refunded in full.

We do not review every design before it is printed. Declining something after the fact is not an admission that we checked it first.

8. Your account

Buying does not need an account. An account gets you order history, saved addresses and, if you want one, a storefront.

Keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has got into your account. You can close your account at any time by asking us; we keep order records afterwards for the reasons set out in the privacy policy.

9. What we are responsible for

We are responsible for getting your order printed and delivered as described, and for refunding or reprinting it where we do not.

We are not responsible for losses beyond that — lost profits, lost sales, or losses you could not reasonably have expected. Where we are liable, our liability for any one order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud, which cannot be limited under Kenyan law.

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, though we try.

10. Changing these terms

We can change these terms. The version in effect when you place an order is the one that governs that order. Where a change matters to you — pricing, payouts, your rights — we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction.

Before going to court, please write to us . Most things are faster to fix directly.

12. Contacting us

A monitored contact address has still to be set — see the note at the top of this page. Our contact page has the rest.
